Elin Pilates is locally family-run — we live in the Northwest, just like the community we serve. Our co-founder and lead instructor, Jooyoung, began Pilates in 2017 to improve her posture. After childbirth in 2019, Pilates became instrumental in her postpartum recovery — and it changed the direction of her life. What began as personal healing became a professional calling, and eventually, a studio our whole family pours itself into.
Jooyoung has worked with more than 400 clients in Korean and English — from professional athletes and active-duty soldiers to expecting mothers preparing for a healthy birth. She has helped people build strength, recover after pregnancy, ease chronic tension, rehabilitate after injury, and move with confidence again — tailoring every session to the body in front of her.
